Yeah, absolutely. The Aztecs, for example, called them “teonanácatl,” which, if I remember right, translates to “flesh of the gods.” These mushrooms weren’t just, you know, recreational—they were central to spiritual rituals, healing, and even divination. The Mazatecs in Mexico still use them in ceremonies today, actually.
